JOB PURPOSE:

To supervise and coordinate production activities during the assigned shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations while achieving production targets, maintaining compliance with food safety standards, and optimizing resource utilization.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Production Operations

  • Supervise shift production activities and ensure production targets are achieved.
  • Monitor operations, resolve issues, and coordinate with support functions.
  • Ensure safe and efficient equipment operation.

Team Supervision

  • Lead production operators and technicians during the shift.
  • Allocate manpower, monitor performance, and provide coaching.
  • Promote teamwork and compliance with company standards.

Quality, Food Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with quality, GMP, HACCP, food safety, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor production quality and support corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor production KPIs including output, efficiency, downtime, waste, and yield.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and support problem-solving initiatives.

Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare shift reports and maintain production records.
  • Conduct effective shift handovers and communicate key operational updates.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or food production operations.
  • At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-leading role preferred.
