JOB PURPOSE:
To supervise and coordinate production activities during the assigned shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations while achieving production targets, maintaining compliance with food safety standards, and optimizing resource utilization.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Production Operations
- Supervise shift production activities and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Monitor operations, resolve issues, and coordinate with support functions.
- Ensure safe and efficient equipment operation.
Team Supervision
- Lead production operators and technicians during the shift.
- Allocate manpower, monitor performance, and provide coaching.
- Promote teamwork and compliance with company standards.
Quality, Food Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with quality, GMP, HACCP, food safety, and safety requirements.
- Monitor production quality and support corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor production KPIs including output, efficiency, downtime, waste, and yield.
- Identify improvement opportunities and support problem-solving initiatives.
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare shift reports and maintain production records.
- Conduct effective shift handovers and communicate key operational updates.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or food production operations.
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-leading role preferred.
