Job Scope

The Boiler Operator manages the steam boiler systems that support feed production processes.

The role ensures safe operation, regular maintenance, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

The Boiler Operator plays a key role in energy management and uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor steam boilers to ensure optimal performance.

Maintain proper steam pressure and water levels as per specifications.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on boiler systems.

Log operational data including pressure, temperature, and fuel usage.

Respond quickly to alarms, troubleshoot issues, and escalate major problems.

Ensure compliance with boiler safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with maintenance teams during major overhauls or repairs.

Implement energy efficiency practices to reduce fuel consumption.

Train junior staff in boiler operation and safety protocols.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the boiler room.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

3–5 years of experience as a boiler operator in industrial facilities.

Knowledge of steam systems, boiler safety codes, and preventive maintenance practices.

Ability to work shifts and respond effectively to emergencies.

Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
