JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for managing all production activities in the feed mill, ensuring efficient operations that align production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements. Manage end-to-end of feed production process, coordinating with other departments, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to drive productivity and product quality.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Production Planning & Execution
Develop and manage production schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and monitor operations to ensure timely product delivery.
Operational Efficiency & Process Optimization
Lead process improvement initiatives, reduce bottlenecks, enhance productivity, and coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure continuous operations.
Quality Control & Compliance
Maintain quality standards, resolve production quality issues, and ensure compliance with feed safety regulations and company policies.
Health, Safety & Environmental Management
Promote workplace safety, conduct audits and risk assessments, and ensure environmental compliance in waste management and resource conservation.
Budgeting & Cost Control
Manage production budgets, monitor costs, identify savings opportunities, and analyze financial performance to maintain cost efficiency.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and develop production teams, conduct performance evaluations, provide training, and encourage effective communication and collaboration.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Track KPIs, prepare production reports, analyze trends, and use data-driven insights to improve operational performance.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Animal Science, Feed Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Minimum Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in a production management role within the food or feed industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
