JOB PURPOSE:

Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the merchandising team to ensure excellent in-store execution, product visibility, planogram compliance, and retail standards across assigned territories. The role ensures merchandising excellence that supports sales growth, strengthens brand presence, and delivers a consistent customer experience across Modern Mills Company's retail channels.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Merchandising Execution

• Ensure effective in-store merchandising and product visibility.
• Maintain planogram, pricing, and display compliance.

2. Team Supervision

• Lead, coach, and monitor the merchandising team.
• Allocate daily assignments and oversee field activities.

3. Retail Excellence

• Execute promotions and maintain merchandising standards.
• Resolve store execution issues promptly.

4. Performance Management

• Monitor merchandising KPIs and team productivity.
• Recommend corrective actions to improve execution.

5. Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain.
• Support new product launches and promotional campaigns.

6. Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve merchandising effectiveness.
• Share market insights and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 3–5 years of FMCG merchandising experience.
• Minimum 1–2 years leading or supervising merchandising teams.
• Experience within modern trade and traditional trade is preferred.
