Job purpose:
Support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis activities to help the business track performance and make informed decisions. The role works with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Accountabilities
Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning activities. Maintain and update planning templates and financial models, consolidating inputs from business units and ensuring completeness and consistency. Track performance versus plan and highlight key variances, risks, and opportunities.
Perform variance analysis (actual vs budget/forecast) and identify key drivers: support cost optimization and operational performance analysis. Assist with pricing, margin, and profitability analysis as required. Support trade promotion tracking (pre/post promotion evaluation) and monitor trade spend to highlight key trends and opportunities.
Prepare monthly dashboards, reporting packs, and performance summaries, ensuring accuracy through data validation and controls. Support business review presentations with clear insights and commentary.
Partner with Supply Chain, Sales, HR, and Operations on planning and reporting requirements, and support ad-hoc analysis and projects assigned by FP&A leadership, as needed.
Support automation and continuous improvement in FP&A reporting and planning processes. Use ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI/Tableau) to improve cycle time and data quality.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in FP&A, finance, or financial analysis.
- Strong Excel skills; financial modeling knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with SAP and Power BI/Tableau is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
