Analyse market trends, supplier capacity, commodity movements, and supply risks to support purchasing decisions, and identify local and international sourcing opportunities that improve cost, quality, availability, and lead times.

Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including requests for quotation, bid evaluation, negotiation, purchase orders, and supplier follow-up, ensuring materials are procured in line with approved specifications, budgets, and delivery schedules.

Coordinate with Planning, Production, and Warehouse teams to maintain appropriate material availability and inventory levels, and resolve supply shortages, delayed deliveries, quality concerns, and commercial disputes.

Partner with Research and Development, Quality, Marketing, and Operations to source materials for new products, coordinate material trials and sample requests, and ensure launch timelines are met.

Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international suppliers, and lead commercial negotiations covering prices, payment terms, lead times, and contractual conditions.

Conduct supplier performance reviews based on quality, cost, delivery, and service; develop corrective action plans for underperforming suppliers and secure alternative sources for critical materials.

Deliver measurable cost savings through negotiation, competitive bidding, demand consolidation, and alternative sourcing, and review total cost of ownership including freight, customs, storage, and payment terms.

Develop dual-sourcing, local-sourcing, and contingency plans for critical items, and monitor geopolitical, logistical, regulatory, and commodity-related risks affecting supply.

Ensure procured materials comply with approved technical specifications, food safety standards, and Saudi Food and Drug Authority requirements, and maintain supplier documentation including certificates of analysis, technical data sheets, and relevant certifications.

Negotiate and manage supplier agreements in coordination with Legal, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, the authority matrix, and ethical standards.
