JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and ongoing support of the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and business applications. Eensures that the ERP and related applications are aligned with business goals, secure, scalable, and integrated across various departments. Lead the efforts to collaborate closely with functions, business units, IT teams, and external vendors to optimize processes, implement best practices, and support digital transformation initiatives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
ERP System management Lead the administration and optimization of ERP systems, ensuring efficient business operations across functions like finance, supply chain, HR, procurement, and manufacturing. Manage the integration of ERP modules with other IT systems to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency. Oversee system configuration, ensuring the ERP platform meets business needs and is scalable to future requirements. Strategic planning & implementation Develop and implement ERP and business application strategies to align with company goals and drive digital transformation. Lead ERP implementations, migrations, and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Regularly assess ERP performance and recommend changes or improvements based on the company's evolving business needs. Business process optimization Lead the collaboration with functions / business units to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for processing automation and improvement. Ensure ERP system configurations are in line with best practices, driving operational efficiency and supporting the company’s growth initiatives. Develop and implement change management strategies during system updates or new implementations. Cross functional collaboration Partner with senior leadership and department heads to align ERP systems with their strategic goals. Translate business needs into system requirements and solutions by working closely with functional teams. Act as a liaison between IT and business units to ensure smooth implementation of ERP-related projects. Vendor & Contract Management Manage relationships with ERP vendors, consultants, and third-party service providers, ensuring optimal system performance and support. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company standards. Oversee vendor performance and handle issue escalation when necessary. Project Management Lead ERP-related projects, from planning through execution, ensuring project timelines, budgets, and objectives are met. Apply industry-standard project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) for ERP and application implementations. Ensure proper risk management, including contingency planning, during ERP upgrades or rollouts. Training & support Oversee the development and delivery of training programs for ERP end-users across different departments, ensuring they are equipped to use the systems effectively. Ensure that the ERP support team responds promptly to system issues and troubleshoots complex technical problems as required. Budget & resource management Manage the ERP and IT applications budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and compliance with financial guidelines. Evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of ERP solutions and recommend cost-effective strategies for ongoing improvements. Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports Contributes to the development of IT policies, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure consistent application and ease of operations for subordinates. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field. PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications. ERP certifications in relevant platforms (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, Oracle Certified Professional). Minimum Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience managing ERP systems, with at least 5 years in management capacity. Language Requirements: Arabic: Advanced English: Advanced
