Job Purpose

Design, develop, implement, and support SAP ABAP developments and enterprise integrations between SAP and non-SAP applications. Responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality technical solutions that enhance business processes while ensuring compliance with SAP development standards and integration best practices. Work closely with functional consultants, infrastructure, cybersecurity, external vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure high-performing SAP solutions across manufacturing, finance, supply chain, sales, and shared services.

Key Accountabilities

A. SAP ABAP Development & Customisation

• Develop custom SAP ABAP solutions including Reports, Enhancements, Interfaces, Forms, Conversions, and Workflows.
• Utilise the SAP Enhancement Framework, User Exits, and CDS Views in custom developments.

B. Integration Development & Management

• Design, build, and maintain integrations between SAP and external applications using APIs, IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, OData, and middleware technologies.
• Develop and support SAP Integration Suite (CPI) interfaces and integration flows where applicable.
• Ensure integration architecture meets scalability, reliability, and performance best practices.

C. Interface Monitoring & Support

• Monitor and troubleshoot interface failures, ensuring timely issue resolution.
• Provide technical support for incidents, service requests, and root cause analysis.

D. Requirements Analysis & Solution Design

• Analyse business requirements and prepare technical specifications and solution designs.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

E. Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Ensure developments comply with SAP development standards, security requirements, and governance policies.

F. Documentation

• Maintain technical documentation for developments, interfaces, and system changes.

G. Deployment & Lifecycle Support

• Support SAP upgrades, enhancements, releases, and production deployments.
• Follow SAP development lifecycle and transport management practices.

H. Continuous Improvement

• Recommend continuous improvements to SAP architecture, automation, and integration capabilities.

What We’re Looking For

3–5 years of SAP ABAP development experience, supporting SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments, with experience in SAP integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems
