JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with retailers, distributors, and wholesalers to promote and sell the company’s flour products. This role involves managing existing customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, delivering customer satisfaction, and ensuring consistent product availability and visibility across the assigned territory. Work closely with the Sales team to achieve sales targets, enhance brand presence, and provide excellent service in line with company standards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with current and potential customers to enhance loyalty and brand advocacy.
Sales Target Achievement: Work towards achieving monthly, quarterly & yearly sales targets by effectively managing the assigned route and visiting customers regularly.
Order Management: Identify customer needs, take orders accurately, and coordinate with the Sales team and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
Product Promotion: Actively promote the company’s flour products to increase brand awareness and drive sales within the assigned territory.
Market Development: Identify new sales opportunities in the assigned market, recommend new routes, and explore additional accounts to expand the company's footprint.
Feedback Collection: Gather insights from customers regarding product performance, competition, and customer satisfaction, and share with the Sales team.
Merchandising and Display: Product Display and Merchandising: Ensure that all products are properly displayed and visible in customer locations according to company standards.
Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and shelf space, ensuring optimal product availability to prevent out-of-stock situations.
Promotional Activities: Execute promotional campaigns and initiatives (such as discounts, bundling offers) as directed by the Sales team to boost product visibility and sales.
Reporting and Communication: Daily Sales Reporting: Accurately record and report daily sales, customer interactions, and route coverage to the Sales Supervisor.
Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor activity, including pricing, promotional offers, and product launches, and report findings to the Sales team.
Customer Feedback Collection: Gather and relay feedback from customers to the Sales and Product teams to improve products, services, and overall customer satisfaction.
Communication with Warehouse: Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely availability and dispatch of products as per customer orders.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or certification in Sales, Marketing, or Business is preferred.

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the food or FMCG industry. Experience in the flour or bakery products segment is an advantage.

Language Requirements:

  • Arabic: Advanced
