Job Purpose

Responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and optimization of all electrical systems and equipment in the plant. Ensures that electrical systems operate safely, reliably, and efficiently, minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production. Manage teams of electrical technicians, developing preventive maintenance schedules, and working closely with top machinery vendors to maintain industry standards.

Key Accountabilities

Electrical Maintenance

Oversee all electrical maintenance activities, ensuring motors, power systems, PLCs, and control panels operate efficiently. Plan and execute preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.

Troubleshooting & Repair

Lead fault diagnosis and repairs, working closely with production and mechanical teams to quickly resolve issues and maintain operations.

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

Apply predictive tools (e.g. thermography, insulation testing) and continuously improve maintenance practices based on performance data.

Team Supervision & Development

Supervise and develop the electrical team, ensuring compliance with safety standards and ongoing technical capability building.

Reporting & Analysis

Track maintenance activities, analyse data, and provide insights to improve equipment reliability and performance.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure full compliance with electrical safety standards, maintaining accurate documentation and adherence to all regulations.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum of 6-8 years in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Language Requirements:

  • Arabic: Advanced

English: Advanced
