JOB PURPOSE:
The Team Lead, Spare Parts manages warehouse operations specific to spare parts. The role ensures availability, accuracy, and proper issuance of spare parts to maintenance teams.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Supervise spare parts receiving, storage, and issuance operations.
- Maintain accurate ERP (SAP) records of all parts movements.
- Monitor stock levels and support spare parts planning.
- Conduct audits and cycle counts for spare parts accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and storage standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for spare parts availability.
- Prepare reports on spare parts usage and performance.
- Train warehouse staff on spare parts handling practices.
- Optimize warehouse layout for spare parts storage.
- Implement continuous improvement in spare parts management.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in spare parts warehouse management.
- ERP (SAP) knowledge is required.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of spare parts for mechanical/electrical systems.
