Job Purpose
The Senior Specialist, Warehouse – Spare Parts is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations related to spare parts management to ensure the timely availability, accuracy, and efficient distribution of materials required to support maintenance activities. The role ensures effective inventory control, compliance with company standards, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes to support operational reliability and business continuity.
Key Accountabilities
- Supervise the receiving, storage, handling, and issuance of spare parts in accordance with established procedures and standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all stock transactions are properly recorded in SAP ERP.
- Monitor inventory levels, identify replenishment requirements, and support spare parts planning activities.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, stock audits, and inventory reconciliations to ensure high inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, housekeeping, and storage standards within the warehouse.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance and other internal stakeholders to ensure the timely availability of spare parts.
- Analyze spare parts consumption trends and prepare periodic inventory and performance reports.
- Lead, coach, and train warehouse personnel on best practices related to spare parts handling and inventory management.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage solutions to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse performance, inventory accuracy, and service levels.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in warehouse operations, with a strong focus on spare parts management.
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical spare parts and inventory control principles.
- Proven leadership capabilities with strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
