Job purpose

The Shift Miller is responsible for running the milling operations during the assigned shift, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining product quality and safety standards. The role also involves supervising the shift team and coordinating with maintenance, warehouse, and quality teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead shift operations to ensure daily production targets are met
• Supervise millers, grinders, bolters, and control room operators
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance when required
• Ensure flour and feed quality meets defined standards and specifications
• Maintain accurate shift records and operational data
• Support, train, and guide junior team members in daily operations
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and food safety requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and operational performance
• Coordinate with warehouse and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow
• Conduct effective shift handovers with clear communication of key updates
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the line manager in line with business needs
• Adhere to company policies, code of conduct, and applicable Saudi labor regulations

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Around 5 years of experience in flour milling
• Basic leadership and team supervision skills
• Good understanding of milling operations and processes
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP is a plus)
