Job Purpose
Branch Accountant is responsible for managing all accounting and financial activities at the branch level. ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. works closely with the sales team and central finance team to support day today business operations through effective financial management.
Key Accountabilities
- maintain financial records for the branch, such as invoices, receipts, and ledgers.
- Monitor sales, collections, and customer balances.
- processing payments and recording expenses.
- Control petty cash and expenses.
- Conduct daily reconciliation of bank statements with guidance.
- Help prepare basic financial reports and summaries.
- tracking branch cash flow and expenses.
- Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the line manager.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support audit activities by organizing documents and information.
- Communicate with other departments as needed for financial matters.
what we are looking for:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor’s preferred)
Minimum Experience:
- 2 to 4 years relevant experience (FMCG)
Language Requirements:
Arabic: Working knowledge
English: Working knowledge
